ARESTIN®
ARESTIN® (minocycline hydrochloride) is an antibiotic that kills bacteria from infections. It is typically used as part of a periodontal maintenance plan to support optimal oral hygiene. ARESTIN® is placed directly in the infected areas or pockets in your gums right after scaling and root planing treatment.
It works quickly to get rid of the infection at the source and continues fighting the infection 30 days after you leave the office. ARESTIN®, along with scaling and root planing, provides significantly better results than using one treatment alone, for a long-lasting healthy smile.
Contact Sanders Family Dental today to learn more about ARESTIN® treatment and to see if it’s right for you.
